12th Aussie & Kiwi Film Fest – Photo Reportage

Prague, November 2025 – Once again, we had a chance, in November 2025, to visit the other side of the world thanks to the Australian and New Zealand films screened at our festival.  The festival took place from 14 to 21 November 2025 at cinemas Lucerna, Ponrepo and Edison Filmhub. 

Our director, Martina Vacková, opened the festival with her introductory word and Helena Brychová, another member of our team, guided us through the evening.
The festival's opening took place at Lucerna cinema, as usual.
Representatives of both the New Zealand Embassy in Berlin and the Australian Consulate in Prague also spoke at the opening.
Another part of the evening was a performance by Silentium choir, which included songs from The Lord of the Rings, connecting their performance to New Zealand.
After the screenings, viewers could fill out a voting card and sign up for our newsletter to get information, but could also compete for nice prizes.
We welcomed partners and viewers with a glass of wine and interesting conversation before the screening.
The Lucerna Café served as a pleasant space for us to have conversations about films from our favorite region.
And we're already looking forward to the next year!
